We are a small group of Vietnamese Americans who are passionate about volleyball. After many years of playing volleyball together we develop a strong bond as a group. We are able to play outdoor grass volleyball year round thanks to California's beatiful weather. In addition to playing pick-up games, we host multiple volleyball tournaments through out the year to test out the best players and teams. And when we don't have tournaments, we enjoy a volleyball potluck style with everyone.
Many of our members share the same feelings for this group; it's unique and hard to come by in a busy society like ours. We want to sustain this special group for years to come, and maybe our children and grand children will do the same; they should, volleyball activities or any other activities are great for building a positive community.
We would like to use this volleyball group as example of how a simple activity can bring so many like-minded individuals together and build a positive and nurturing environment to balance between a busy work life and friends/families. Because of that reason, we created this website for members and players to stay connected, share ideas and encourage one another. Volleyball is safe, healthy and relaxing -- all reasons to look forward to next weekend.
